VI-SEEM REG LS+CL+CH: Introduction to Hadoop

In this training, we will give an overview of Hadoop, HDFS, and MapReduce technologies. After introductory presentation, a set of hands-on sessions will be given. Participants will be provided with the demo accounts, and they will be able to access the Institute of Physics Belgrade's Hadoop cluster, to interact with HDFS file system, and to submit MapReduce jobs. Provided demo accounts will be active for a week after the event, and participants will be able to further test and explore Hadoop capabilities.
